The UP POMPEY! Tour 2019; Selsey, Ferring and Hambledon, July 2019. See Tour Manager Knobby for more info. Other Sunday fixtures coming together, as are the HOUNSLOW LEISURE fixtures with most mid weeks now confirmed. Looks like Chelmbridge will be our 400th game. Help find Magdalen CC opening batter from '71 to '74, Hugh Grant (not that one), who held the record for most runs in a season from 1971 for 43 years (876), until Wendel surpassed it with his season of 3 double hundreds in 2014. Still holds the record for highest opening partnership, 242 v Motley, 1971. A fine bat by all accounts..., but who was he, and where is he now..?
