August 2005. HL umpires Rick and Mike and batters Adam and Wendel, returning to the pavilion, having just posted a winning score of 196/2 from 20 overs. v Feltham Garrison. Wendel hitting 109no, including two 6's over the fence.

HL battled FGCC on 21 occasions, the last time in 2012, winning 10, We played 3 games in 94/5, losing all three horribly, and were dropped for a decade. Hostilities were resumed in 2004, We were a better side by then and we fought out some epics, mostly played at the MoD gaff in Feltham. Alas, they struggled for players the last couple of years and sadly folded and thus there ended our rivalries.

They once told me about a tour game they played and somehow lost. From the Barley Mow Pub in Wellington website:...

Seb Coe (not that one) of Sampford Arundel CC in Somerset, contributed 283 not out in his side's successful chase of 332 to beat touring team Feltham Garrison. The home team won by one wicket thanks to a last wicket stand of 107 between Coe, who hit 18 sixes and 40 fours, and the local pub landlord...

Incredible, they were never too mad on people called Sebastian...
